Picketing Continues! 8:30 AM, 5750 Wilshire Blvd., L.A.!

    September 16, 2014

Big thanks go out to the many Local 700 sisters and brothers who have given of their time to walk the Shahs of Sunset picket line over the course of four days of picketing in the midst of a brutal L.A. heatwave. We are equally grateful for all those who have come from sister IATSE locals, from SAG-AFTRA, and from the L.A. County Federation of Labor to support the Shahs crew. Thanks go, too, to the many folks who have stopped by the line to bring gifts of baked goods, cold drinks, and popsicles. And, most importantly, our profound admiration goes out to the crew, who remain steadfast in their resolve that successful shows such as this one ought to share that success with their crews in the form of union contracts with union benefits.

Tomorrow the strike reaches its one-week mark, and we will be out there again to demonstrate that we’re not going anywhere, and Shahs of Sunset won’t get made, until Ryan Seacrest’s Berne Productions returns to the crew to work under an IATSE contract.

Please come out to walk the line on Wednesday as we continue to demonstrate to the employer: No contract, no Shahs!

    Date: Wednesday, 9/17/2014

    Time: starting 8:30 A.M.

Location: 5750 Wilshire Blvd., L.A., CA
